Smart Collect
Honest Decisioning for collections.
Attribution, propensity scoring, decisioning, and experiments on rails you can inspect. Deterministic rules today, ML-ready tomorrow — every recommendation is auditable.

Capabilities
What this layer does for your team.
Outcomes a recovery manager actually feels — captured by the platform, not the agent's memory.
Book a walkthrough- Propensity scoring at the contact level with explainable inputs
- Attribution links every message, click, call, and payment back to a strategy
- Rule-based decisioning picks next-best channel, timing, content, and intensity
- Experiments with persisted arm assignment and lift measurement
- Approved templates only — no free-form text generation in the hot path
- Decision runs and recommendations are durable and replayable
- Activation gating — live orchestration only after bootstrap completes
- Pausable per tenant; downgrade hides logic cleanly without data loss
Deep dive
Smart Collect is not a black box. It is a tightly-coupled set of layers that learn from your data and act through your compliance rules.
The collections industry is full of empty claims. Most tools are dashboards that show a score after the fact. Smart Collect is an orchestrator built around four layers that actually run inside the workflow: attribution, scoring, decisioning, and experiments. Each is independently inspectable. Together they close the loop from observation to action to outcome.
What "honest" means here
Honest means explainable. Every score includes the inputs that drove it. Every recommendation includes the rule or model that produced it and the policy that allowed it.
Honest means auditable. Decision runs are persisted with versions and timestamps. Recommendations are persisted with their experiment arm, their expected reward, and the eventual realized outcome.
Honest means gated. Smart Collect cannot run for tenants who haven't been entitled. Even entitled tenants must complete bootstrap before live orchestration begins. Pausing is a one-flag operation.
Honest means deterministic before clever. Rule-based scoring today is testable with fixed fixtures, stable enough to mirror summary fields into the contact view. Machine learning is a swap on the same rails when your data supports it.
Why this matters in collections
A bank that asks "why did the system decide to call this borrower at 3pm on Wednesday?" deserves an answer that isn't "the model said so." Smart Collect returns a rule, a feature snapshot, an experiment arm, a policy gate, and a guardrail — and the conversation moves on.
Outcomes
What changes when you ship this.
- Recovery rates climb because the right channel reaches the right contact at the right time
- Every recommendation is defensible — the bank's audit doesn't end with a shrug
- Experiments stop being PowerPoint and start producing measurable lift
- Strategy changes ship as configuration, not engineering
- Orchestrator never speaks to a borrower in unapproved words
